The paper from Renier, Adriano, Hannes, Daniele, Wenbin, and Sjonni on the 2020 Mw 6.4 earthquake that occurred offshore of the Puerto Rico island has been published in Seismological Research Letters https://doi.org/10.1785/0220210261. This earthquake was the mainshock of a seismic sequence with the events distributed along a diffuse plate boundary zone.
InSAR, GNSS, and teleseismic data jointly inverted using BEAT provided the fault parameters of the mainshock. Former geomorphological, kinematics, and seismic studies in the area constrained the tectonic framework associated with the rupture.
