Scott defends his MS thesis

James S. Berdahl, or Scott, successfully defended his MS thesis in the Earth Science and Engineering Program at KAUST on 3 May, 2016. The title of the thesis is "Geological effects on lightning strike distributions". In this work, Scott explored whether or not geological formations influence the distribution of lightning strikes, or if other factors play a stronger role. His advisors were Profs. Sigurjón Jónsson and Marc Genton and other committee members were KAUST profs. Hakan Bagci and Matt McCabe.
