Several members of the CDI group attended and presented at the European Geoscience Union General Assembly in Vienna (28 Apr. - 2 May). Wenbin Xu had a talk on the Zubair Islands (southern Red Sea) eruptions in 2011 and 2013, Jon Harrington spoke about the M7.7 earthquake that rocked southwestern Pakistan in 2013, Ahmet Akoglu had a poster on the 2012 Ahar-Varzaghan (Iran) earthquake duplet, Guangcai Feng presented a poster on the 1995 Gulf of Aqaba earthquake, Sigurjon Jonsson gave a summary of research results from the CDI group, and Ulas Avsar presented four posters!
